HTL is happy and grateful to have Indigenous Language Teacher Nelaatoh Anna Clock (Koyukon Athabascan, Eyak) back with us again this fall to teach Lingít for Beginner &Intermediate language learners. Gunalchéesh to our Community Partners at KTOO and Discovery Southeast for your continued support of this class.

In this class, we will level-up in our abilities to understand, speak, and write in Lingít. We will study written speeches and recordings of fluent speakers, practice greeting each other and speaking from the heart, and hone our cultural and linguistic fluency for a long-term goal of respectful engagement with Elder speakers. Learners will work on a personal project as they are able during the week, and will review and share our work when we meet for class.
