DESCRIPTION:**Register or learn more at namijuneau.org/lgbtq2!** \n\n\n\n\n\n\nQueer Wellbeing Workshop: Queer Poetics\nfacilitated by Twain Kok \n\n\n\nMonday\, July 20th\, 6:00PM-8:00PM\nKing Salmon Shelter (Lena Beach)\nLGBTQ2S+ Adults Welcome! \n\n\nThis Queer Poetics workshop is open to everyone\, regardless of writing experience or lack thereof! The workshop will involve reading published work by queer poets\, communal writing time\, and a completely optional\, very casual open mic. \nTwain is a poet who loves exploratory journaling practices\, beautiful wordplay\, and the Juneau community. They have been published in Tidal Echoes\, Yolk\, The Scrivener Creative Review\, and the Lampeter Review. Their poems have also been featured as a part of two different First Friday shows at Alaska Robotics. They hope you’ll join! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n———————- \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**This is part of a series of workshops aimed to cultivate joy & belonging as a way of promoting positive mental health within the LGBTQ2S+ community. It is offered by NAMI Juneau and the Haa Tóoch Lichéesh Coalition in partnership with local facilitators.
