March Full Moon Traditional Ocean Dip

Please join Haa Tóoch Lichéesh on March 24 from 1:30-3:00 PM at Auke Rec for a monthly Traditional Ocean Dip to coincide with the Full Moon in March. March is known in some Lingít traditions as Héen Taanáx̱ Kayaaní Dísi, or “The Month When Underwater Plants Begin to Grow.”
This is a family-friendly event focused on strength training and collective healing. Feel free to bring any food you’d like to share. We’ll meet at the Great Grandmother Tree past the kootéeyaa (totem).
