Queer Wellbeing Workshop: Queer Poetics
facilitated by Twain Kok

Monday, July 20th, 6:00PM-8:00PM
King Salmon Shelter (Lena Beach)
LGBTQ2S+ Adults Welcome!

This Queer Poetics workshop is open to everyone, regardless of writing experience or lack thereof! The workshop will involve reading published work by queer poets, communal writing time, and a completely optional, very casual open mic.

Twain is a poet who loves exploratory journaling practices, beautiful wordplay, and the Juneau community. They have been published in Tidal Echoes, Yolk, The Scrivener Creative Review, and the Lampeter Review. Their poems have also been featured as a part of two different First Friday shows at Alaska Robotics. They hope you’ll join!
